Sonos Spotify App Problem

One of the common issues with Sonos is its Wifi problems. Since it works on a wireless connection, there are several scenarios where you won’t be able to connect your speakers, tv etc. To know more about the issue, let us have a look at the causes of this problem. Sonos Not Connecting. With the latest updates to iOS 13 and Spotify app, this problem no longer happens frequently. However when it does and I don't see my speakers in the Spotify app marked with 'Spotify Connect', I found this workaround: go to the Sonos app and select that speaker and play a few seconds of some song or podcast etc.

Note: If you can’t find your Sonos speaker in your Spotify Connect list of devices, update your Sonos speaker.

  1. Download and open the Sonos app.
  2. Tap More, then Add Music Services.
  3. Select Spotify, then Add Account.
  4. Enter your Spotify account details.

  2. Click Add Music Services on the right and select Spotify.
  3. Click Next, then Add Account.
  4. Enter your Spotify account details.

Mobile and tablet

  1. Open the Sonos app.
  2. Tap More, then select Settings.
  3. Tap My Services, then select Spotify.
  4. Tap Remove Account.

Desktop

  1. Open the Sonos app.
  2. Select Manage, then Service Settings.
  3. Select Spotify and click the minus (-) button.
